Euphorbia turpinii merupakan tumbuhan perdu kecil dari famili Euphorbiaceae (suku kastuba-kastubaan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Greater Antilles hingga Kepulauan Virgin (Anegada). Nama ilmiah Euphorbia turpinii pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Pierre Edmond Boissier pada tahun 1860.
