Eurybia hemispherica merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari Amerika Serikat bagian tengah dan tenggara. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan southern prairie aster. Nama ilmiah Eurybia hemispherica pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Edward Johnston Alexander pada tahun 1995.
