Euthamia remota merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Wisconsin hingga India barat lautna. Nama ilmiah Euthamia remota diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Edward Lee Greene pada tahun 1902.
