Eversmannia subspinosa merupakan tumbuhan perdu atau perdu kecil dari famili Fabaceae (suku polong-polongan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Eropa selatanan Rusia hingga Afghanistan. Nama ilmiah Eversmannia subspinosa pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Friedrich Ernst Ludwig von Fischer pada tahun 1904.
