Evolvulus anagalloides merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Convolvulaceae (suku kangkung-kangkungan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering di wilayah Brazil timur laut. Nama ilmiah Evolvulus anagalloides pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Carl Daniel Friedrich Meissner pada tahun 1869.
