Fagopyrum urophyllum merupakan tumbuhan perdu kecil dari famili Polygonaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang di wilayah Sikkim, China (Sichuan, Yunnan). Nama ilmiah Fagopyrum urophyllum pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Louis Édouard Bureau pada tahun 1913.
