Fallopia scandens merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Polygonaceae yang memiliki pola tumbuh memanjat. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Kanada bagian tengah dan timur hingga Amerika Serikat bagian tengah dan timur. Nama ilmiah Fallopia scandens diperkenalkan oleh Josef Ludwig Holub pada tahun 1971.
