Faramea australis adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan berbentuk perdu atau pohon dari famili Rubiaceae (suku kopi-kopian). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Brazil tenggara. Nama ilmiah Faramea australis pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis José Mariano da Conceição Vellozo pada tahun 1875.
