Faurea discolor merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk perdu atau pohon dari famili Proteaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari RD Kongo bagian selatan hingga kawasan tropis Afrika bagian selatan. Nama ilmiah Faurea discolor pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Friedrich Welwitsch pada tahun 1869.
