Felicia amoena subsp. stricta merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis di wilayah Provinsi Cape. Nama ilmiah Felicia amoena subsp. stricta pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Augustin Pyramus de Candolle pada tahun 1973.
