Ferreyranthus excelsus merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari Peru. Nama ilmiah Ferreyranthus excelsus pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Eduard Friedrich Poeppig pada tahun 1974.
