Ferula costata merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Apiaceae (suku adas-adasan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Afghanistan hingga Pakistan barat. Nama ilmiah Ferula costata pertama kali dipublikasikan pada tahun 1963.
