Festuca borderei merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Poaceae (suku rumput-rumputan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang di wilayah Pyrenees. Nama ilmiah Festuca borderei diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Eduard Hackel pada tahun 1890.
