Festuca calligera adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan menahun dari famili Poaceae (suku rumput-rumputan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang di wilayah Amerika Serikat barat-tengah. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan southwest fescue. Nama ilmiah Festuca calligera diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Charles Vancouver Piper pada tahun 1909.
