Festuca callosa adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan menahun dari famili Poaceae (suku rumput-rumputan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis di wilayah Meksiko tengah. Nama ilmiah Festuca callosa diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Charles Vancouver Piper pada tahun 1925.
