Festuca caucasica merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Poaceae (suku rumput-rumputan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang di wilayah Kaukasia. Nama ilmiah Festuca caucasica diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Pierre Edmond Boissier pada tahun 1884.
