Festuca cirrosa adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan menahun dari famili Poaceae (suku rumput-rumputan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Chili selatan hingga Argentina selatan. Nama ilmiah Festuca cirrosa diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Carlo Luigi (Carlos Luis) Spegazzini pada tahun 1953.
