Festuca eskia merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Poaceae (suku rumput-rumputan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Pyrenees hingga Spanyol barat laut. Nama ilmiah Festuca eskia pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Louis Ramond de Carbonnières pada tahun 1805.
