Festuca polita subsp. cretica merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Poaceae (suku rumput-rumputan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang di wilayah Kriti. Nama ilmiah Festuca polita subsp. cretica pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Ingeborg Markgraf-Dannenberg pada tahun 2005.
