Festuca polycolea merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Poaceae (suku rumput-rumputan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang di wilayah Himalaya. Nama ilmiah Festuca polycolea pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Otto Stapf pada tahun 1896.
