Festuca tatrae merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Poaceae (suku rumput-rumputan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang di wilayah Carpathians barat. Nama ilmiah Festuca tatrae pertama kali dipublikasikan pada tahun 1904.
