Ficinia distans adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan dari famili Cyperaceae (suku teki-tekian). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis di wilayah Provinsi Cape barat daya. Nama ilmiah Ficinia distans pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Charles Baron Clarke pada tahun 1904.
