Ficinia elatior adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan menahun dari famili Cyperaceae (suku teki-tekian). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis di wilayah Provinsi Cape barat daya. Nama ilmiah Ficinia elatior pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Margaret Rutherford Bryan Levyns pada tahun 1947.
