Ficinia lateralis adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan menahun dari famili Cyperaceae (suku teki-tekian). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis di wilayah Provinsi Cape. Nama ilmiah Ficinia lateralis pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Martin Vahl pada tahun 1837.
