Ficus brachypoda merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk pohon dari famili Moraceae (suku ara-araan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Kepulauan Nusa Tenggara hingga Australia tengah dan barat laut. Nama ilmiah Ficus brachypoda pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Friedrich Anton Wilhelm Miquel pada tahun 1867.
