Ficus buntaensis merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Moraceae (suku ara-araan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Sulawesi. Nama ilmiah Ficus buntaensis diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Cornelis Christiaan Berg pada tahun 2012.
