Ficus johannis subsp. afghanistanica merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk pohon dari famili Moraceae (suku ara-araan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Türkiye barat daya, Iran timur laut, Tadzhikistan selatan, hingga Afghanistan. Nama ilmiah Ficus johannis subsp. afghanistanica pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Otto Warburg pada tahun 1982.
