Ficus prostrata merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk pohon dari famili Moraceae (suku ara-araan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Himalaya timur hingga China (Yunnan). Nama ilmiah Ficus prostrata pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Nathaniel Wallich pada tahun 1867.
