Ficus ruspolii merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk perdu dari famili Moraceae (suku ara-araan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering di wilayah Ethiopia barat daya. Nama ilmiah Ficus ruspolii pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Otto Warburg pada tahun 1905.
