Fimbristylis caroliniana adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan menahun dari famili Cyperaceae (suku teki-tekian). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan carolina fimbry. Nama ilmiah Fimbristylis caroliniana pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Jean-Baptiste Lamarck pada tahun 1940.
