Fimbristylis diphylloides merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Cyperaceae (suku teki-tekian). Spesies ini memiliki kebiasaan membentuk rimpang atau stolon. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis. Nama ilmiah Fimbristylis diphylloides pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Tomitaro Makino pada tahun 1925.
