Fitchia cuneata merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari Kepulauan Society (Raiatea). Nama ilmiah Fitchia cuneata pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis John William Moore pada tahun 1933.
