Florestina platyphylla adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis di wilayah Meksiko (Oaxaca, Chiapas). Nama ilmiah Florestina platyphylla pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Benjamin Lincoln Robinson pada tahun 1896.
