Fordia cauliflora merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk perdu atau pohon dari famili Fabaceae (suku polong-polongan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis di wilayah China (Guangxi, Guangdong, Guizhou barat daya). Nama ilmiah Fordia cauliflora diperkenalkan oleh William Botting Hemsley pada tahun 1886.
