Fordia fruticosa merupakan tumbuhan perdu atau perdu kecil dari famili Fabaceae (suku polong-polongan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering di wilayah Thailand utara. Nama ilmiah Fordia fruticosa diperkenalkan oleh William Grant Craib pada tahun 1927.
