Forestiera rhamnifolia merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk perdu atau pohon dari famili Oleaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Karibia, Pulau Socorro, Meksiko, hingga Amerika tengah. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan caca ravet. Nama ilmiah Forestiera rhamnifolia pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis August Heinrich Rudolf Grisebach pada tahun 1866.
