Fraxinus apertisquamifera merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk pohon dari famili Oleaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang di wilayah Jepang (Honshu tengah). Nama ilmiah Fraxinus apertisquamifera pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Hiroshi Hara pada tahun 1956.
