Freesia speciosa L.Bolus

Freesia speciosa merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Iridaceae. Spesies ini memiliki kebiasaan membentuk bonggol berbentuk umbi. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma gurun pasir atau sabana kering di wilayah Afrika Selatan (Provinsi Cape bagian selatan - barat daya / Little Karoo barat). Nama ilmiah Freesia speciosa pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Harriet Margaret Louisa Bolus (née Kensit) pada tahun 1929.
