Freesia verrucosa merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Iridaceae. Spesies ini memiliki kebiasaan membentuk bonggol berbentuk umbi. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis di wilayah Provinsi Cape selatan. Nama ilmiah Freesia verrucosa pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Benedict Christian Vogel pada tahun 1995.
