Freylinia tropica adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan berbentuk perdu dari famili Scrophulariaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Tanzania timur laut, Zimbabwe, hingga Provinsi Utara (Northen). Nama ilmiah Freylinia tropica diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Spencer Le Marchant Moore pada tahun 1911.
