Furcraea tuberosa adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan perdu kecil dari famili Asparagaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering di wilayah Karibia. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan female karata. Nama ilmiah Furcraea tuberosa pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Philip Miller pada tahun 1811.
