Gahnia aspera subsp. globosa adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan menahun dari famili Cyperaceae (suku teki-tekian). Spesies ini memiliki kebiasaan membentuk rimpang atau stolon. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Kepulauan Hawaii (Oahu). Nama ilmiah Gahnia aspera subsp. globosa pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Horace Mann Jr. pada tahun 1974.
