Gahnia grandis adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan menahun dari famili Cyperaceae (suku teki-tekian). Spesies ini memiliki kebiasaan membentuk rimpang atau stolon. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang di wilayah Australia tenggara. Nama ilmiah Gahnia grandis pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Jacques Labillardière pada tahun 1969.
