Galactia elliottii merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Fabaceae (suku polong-polongan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis di wilayah Amerika Serikat bagian tenggara. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan elliott's milkpea. Nama ilmiah Galactia elliottii pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Thomas Nuttall pada tahun 1818.
