Galipea simplicifolia merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk perdu atau pohon dari famili Rutaceae (suku jeruk-jerukan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Brazil timur. Nama ilmiah Galipea simplicifolia pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Josef August Schultes pada tahun 1824.
