Galium hypotrichium merupakan tumbuhan perdu kecil dari famili Rubiaceae (suku kopi-kopian). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang di wilayah Amerika Serikat barat daya. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan alpine bedstraw. Nama ilmiah Galium hypotrichium pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Asa Gray pada tahun 1865.
