Galium runcinatum merupakan tumbuhan semusim dari famili Rubiaceae (suku kopi-kopian). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang di wilayah Türkiye timur. Nama ilmiah Galium runcinatum diperkenalkan oleh Friedrich Ehrendorfer pada tahun 1979.
