Galphimia elegans merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Malpighiaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering di wilayah Meksiko (Oaxaca). Nama ilmiah Galphimia elegans pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Henri Ernest Baillon pada tahun 1874.
