Galphimia platyphylla adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan perdu kecil dari famili Malpighiaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Paraguay timur hingga Brazil (Mato Grosso do Sul). Nama ilmiah Galphimia platyphylla pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Robert Hippolyte Chodat pada tahun 1890.
