Gamocarpha australis merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Calyceraceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Chili selatan hingga Argentina selatan. Nama ilmiah Gamocarpha australis diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Joseph Decaisne pada tahun 2018.
